Great Britain is packed full of exciting things to do to get your adrenaline pumping and your heart thumping. One of the best places in the UK, where you can get your adventure fix, is The Isle of Man. The Isle of Man is a much loved destination, affectionately known as the jewel of the Irish Sea and is easily accessible from the UK and Ireland. Popular activities on the island include, rambling, coasteering, running, cycling and much more.

One of the best ways to see the coastline of the Island is in a Sea Kayak. Adventurous Experiences, offer lessons, tours and all the equipment you need to explore the rocks and caves around the island. The swells can be great all year round and the weather will differ from one side of the island to the other, if it is rough on one side, the other side is likely to be calm. As well as getting the chance to explore caves and go coasteering, you can enjoy the splendid array of wildlife, including a large grey seal colony and dozens of species of birds.

If you want to keep both feet on the ground, fell running is the activity if you want to exert yourself. Fell running is off round running over upland country, so you do need to be very fit. The views at the tops of the fells make the effort worthwhile plus there is lots of fun to be gads running back down the fells. If you want to take it easy, a fell walk is a nice relaxing way to spend your day. There are lots of competitions and events throughout the year, such as The Parish Walk and The Isle of Man Marathon

The most popular sport on the island is undoubtably the annual TT motorcycle race. The course covers take in over 200 bends, with riders reaching 160 miles and hour on the bends and 200 miles an hour on the straights, now that is fast. Thousands of participants and spectators flock to the island each year, giving it a wonderfully vibrant feel. Islander Connor Cummins is the favourite amongst locals and is passionate about riding the TT race and seeing how much it benefits the island and its residents. If TT racing is too much for you, you can get about on the islands roads using a road bike. You can ride all around the island, taking in its wonderful views and stopping off at intimate cafes to have a chat with the locals, when you feel like a break. There are greta off road tracks for mountain bikers too, so make sure you give it a go, if you still have some energy left.

After an action packed day, your lungs will be filled with fresh Manx air and you are sure to enjoy a good nights sleep before starting all over again the nest day!
