For a taste of how Belfast residents live, head to St George’s Market, which is full of the hustle and bustle that gives the city its unique friendly feel. Browse around the various food, gift, vintage and bric a brac stalls and dine at the market’s dining hall, where you can eat traditional Irish food before washing it down with a pint of cool Guinness. If you love Irish food, there are plenty of cafe and restaurants where you can enjoy local fayre as well as modern favourites. Seafood is particularly good in Belfast and you can eat some of the best oysters in the UK.
